Sales of Flat Caps Soar
News has reached us that sales of flat caps have soared in popularity at one UK retailer.
Asda report that sales are booming following the 2008 Brit Awards ceremony, after popular British band, the Arctic Monkeys, were photographed wearing the items.
The Brit Awards were televised live to a large audience here in the UK and it seems that the headgear worn by the Arctic Monkeys has struck something of a chord.
The Sheffield band won two awards on the night, including the coveted Best Album award.
We wait to see whether other retailers will witness a similar surge in flat cap sales!
