History
Founded back in 1983, Rowland's originally opened their first store in Bath. That first store was aimed at providing classic clothing for men, with a real focus on the quality of the items that were being sold.
The company soon spotted that there was a big opening in the market. It wasn't just men who were interested in buying the types of clothing sold by Rowland's - there was clearly a gap in the market that they could move into.
They soon launched a range of classic clothing for women, soon followed by a mail order catalogue.
In many ways, that mail order catalogue approach meant that Rowland's Classic Clothing were in an excellent position to act as an internet retailer.
The company now have 7 stores, mainly located in the South of England. They produce a new catalogue 4 times a year, with the website providing a showcase for their products.
